JOB BRIEF: We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced procurement manager to join our growing organization. In this position, Candidate will manage our company’s supply operations for products and services, overseeing multiple responsibilities. Candidate should be committed to discovering cost-effective deals and suppliers to build partnerships with, allowing the company to invest in growth and people.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs. 2. Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times. 3. Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company. 4. Identifies and researches potential new suppliers. 5. Researches new products and services to meet company’s goals. 6. Assesses total costs of company purchases. 7. Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels. 8. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. 9. Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients. 10. Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

KEY REQUIREMENTS: 1. B.S. degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or any of its equivalent. 2. Successful work experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer, or another relevant role. 3. Strong working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as an aptitude for reading the market. 4. Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
