Loan origination system: The project was a web-based application involving the automation of Mortgage loan origination process beginning from Point of Sale (POS) /opening a mortgage application through funding/closing. The system performed all the business functions of the loan process such as set-up Account information, New Loan set-up, the Appraisal, credit, and income. The project involved modules for Pre Approval, Application, Underwriting, Pricing, Processing, and Closing.

Responsibilities:

·   Generated a streamline process to understand the various steps in the loan lifecycle and desired functionality of the new system by interacting with users, management, SME (Subject Matter Expert), stakeholders, lenders, underwriters.

Ad Planning System is a web based application to design and build an advertisement for retail stores. Every week a new Ad is rolled out. Although a single Ad is designed it is customized into different versions to suit the needs of various stores. The Price Checking System (PCK) helps to consolidate and compare competitors’ pricing data gathered by the market research team. PCK consists of three main functions: system management, data management and report creation.

Responsibilities:

·   Coordinating Off-shore team in application design, development, testing and maintenance.

·   Requirements Change Control Management and application release schedule management. Gather requirements by conducting meetings and brainstorming sessions with end users and SME and document them using Requisite Pro – the documentation tool offered by Rational.
